The ACO Major Cornhole Tournaments are the biggest cornhole tournaments of the season, held over 2 days. Players of all levels can compete in divisions like Singles, Doubles, Women’s, Seniors to earn points and prize money. An ACO membership is required to participate. Early online registration closes 2 Sundays before at a discounted rate.

The big cornhole tournaments are 2-day events. They are the main tournaments where players can earn points to qualify for the World Championships at the end of July.

Players can also earn points at regional tournaments and conference championship tournaments throughout the season. There are other non-point tournaments as well that anyone can enter just for fun and competition.

Main Cornhole Tournaments of the Season 19

The ACO Major tournaments are the biggest cornhole tournaments of the season. Players of all skill levels can enter to play and have a chance to win.

ACO members compete to earn points for their world ranking. Non-members can also join various “just for fun” tournaments by registering on-site.

  • Singles (one player)
  • Doubles (two players on a team)
  • Seniors (older players)
  • Women’s Division
  • Juniors (younger players)
  • Coed Doubles (one man and one woman per team)
  • Big Blind Draw (teams are randomly selected)

Divisions Where Players Cannot Earn Points at Major Tournaments

  • Bag Masters Quads (teams of four players)

Registering to Play

Do you need to register to play? Choose a major tournament from the list on this page (above), then click the Registration button. Or click here for all ACO events.

You must have an ACO Worlds or Points Membership to participate in any division.

  • An ACO Points Membership ($20) is allowed, but you cannot earn prize money at major tournaments, regional tournaments, or other sanctioned events unless you purchase the paid ACO Worlds Membership before the tournament starts.

Deadline to Register Early

Online early registration closes at 11:59pm EST, two Sundays before the event.

No Refunds will be given for tickets after the early registration deadline, which is two Sundays before the event.

Last Chance to Register

You can register on-site if there are still open spots.

  • Friday on-site registration closes 1/2 hour before the tournament starts.
  • Saturday on-site registration closes at 8:00 PM on Friday night (the night before).

Entry Fees

Singles $40 for early online registration $60 for late online registration
$70 to register at the event

Doubles $80 per team for early online registration $120 per team for late online registration $140 per team to register at the event

Women’s Division $30 per team for early online registration $45 per team for late online registration $50 per team to register at the event

Seniors $30 for early online registration $45 for late online registration $50 to register at the event

Juniors Free online registration

Coed Doubles $30 per team for early online registration $45 per team for late online registration
$50 per team to register at the event

Bag Masters Quads $20 per player, register at the event only ($80 total for a team of 4)

Big Blind Draw $20 per player, register at the event only

Gates Open at 8:30 AM

  • 9:00 AM Pro Series Event Frame Games (at 5 major tournaments)
  • 9:00 AM Seniors / Women’s / Juniors Divisions
  • 12:00 PM Coed Doubles
  • 3:00 PM Bag Masters Quads (Teams of 4 players)
  • 4:00 PM Pro Series Main Event (at 5 major tournaments)
  • 6:00 PM Big Blind Draw

Saturday

Gates Open at 7:00 AM

  • 8:00 AM World Doubles Pool Play
  • Around 10:00 AM* World Doubles Main & Tier Brackets
  • Around 2:00 PM* World Singles Pool Play
  • Around 4:00 PM* World Singles Main & Tier Brackets

*Events will start immediately one after the other, so times are approximate.

Prize Money/Payouts/Awards

Division Prize Money & Payouts Singles Division: $2,000 total prize money. Trophy for the winner.
Doubles Division: $2,000 total prize money. Trophy for the winners. Pro Series Event: $5,000 total prize money ($10,000 at Owensboro). Trophy for the winner.
Women’s/Seniors/Coed Divisions: 50% of entry fees paid out. Trophies for winners. (Payout based on early online registrations) Big Blind Draw and Quads: 50% of entry fees paid out. (Payout based on cash paid at the event)

$500 Bonus Prizes $500 Singles Bonus: For the Singles winner (see eligibility below) $500 Doubles Bonus: For the Doubles winners ($250 each player)

To get the bonus prize: The player(s) must wear an official ACO jersey for the entire Singles/Doubles event. Eligible jerseys are ACO-Pro, Corny 40, Top Gun 20, Major Champion, Worlds Champion, State Champion, Pro Invitational, Player, and Lifetime Member.

Major Prize Jersey Winners of any division at a Major get a special purple ACO prize jersey.
If a player wins multiple majors in one season, they get an additional purple jersey highlighting all their major wins. A player can only get 2 free prize jerseys per season but can purchase extras.

STEP 1: Become an ACO Member

Important Notes

No outside food or drinks allowed at ACO Major tournaments. If you bring them, you will be asked to leave with no refund.

You must wear an ACO branded jersey or have their 4″ logo on the right sleeve during championship matches on the main court (when livestreamed). You can wear a sponsored jersey, but the ACO logo is required.

ACO Video Release By becoming an ACO member or buying a ticket to an ACO event, you give the ACO and its partners permission to use your image, video, voice recordings, etc. in any way. You give up the rights to inspect or approve the final product and cannot receive any payments.

Prohibited Conduct The ACO can immediately terminate your membership, without refund, if they believe you have engaged in harassment, discrimination, violence, criminal activity or any conduct that could negatively impact the ACO’s reputation.

If terminated, you cannot participate in ACO events or identify as an ACO member. The ACO will try to notify you.

Refund Policy NO REFUNDS on tickets after the early registration deadline, which is 2 Sundays before the event. Refund requests must be emailed.

Cancellation Policy If an event is cancelled, you will receive a refund minus any service/processing fees.

Transfer Policy
You cannot transfer your ticket to another person or future event.

How do I register for a Major tournament?
