Cornhole Tournament Supports Pine Tree Camp. A fun cornhole tournament was held in Manchester, Maine to raise money for Pine Tree Camp. Pine Tree Camp is a special camp where kids and adults with disabilities can enjoy a camp experience.
The money raised helps pay for the camp so that no one has to be turned away if they can’t afford it. This is called their “open-door policy.”
Even though Carly can’t speak, Kristin could tell Carly had an amazing time just from her big smiles and excitement when she came home. Carly kept signing “yes” when Kristin asked if she wanted to go back.
Lots of people came out to the cornhole tournament to help raise money. That way, other kids and adults like Carly can keep having wonderful, life-changing experiences at Pine Tree Camp. Kristin said the camp community is filled with great people who know what’s truly important in life.
