Cornhole Tournaments at Field of Dreams, There will be two major cornhole tournaments held at the Field of Dreams movie site in August – the ACO Dream Team Invitational and the ACO Corny 40 Classic featuring the top 40 ranked professional players.
The Dream Team Invitational has qualifying rounds open to anyone on Friday and Saturday, with the top teams advancing to the Sunday finals which also includes the top 40 pros. There are entry fees but over $25,000 in prize money.
The Corny 40 Classic is only for the top 40 ranked players from the previous season. It’s free for them to enter and they get a free hotel night and jersey. The semi-finals and finals are best 2-out-of-3.

Tour the Farm House
Take a 30-minute guided tour of the farm house from the Field of Dreams movie. You’ll hear stories about the house’s history, from when it was owned by the Lansing family in the early 1900s to when it was used as the Kinsella family home in the 1989 fantasy movie.
Stay Overnight
Fans can spend the night in the newly renovated 3-bedroom farm house and experience what it was like for the Kinsella family. Staff will welcome you personally and give you a free gift basket. The house can be rented and can fit up to 7 people.
Cornhole Festival Called “ACO Dream Team Invitational”
Join in or watch two cornhole tournaments at the Field of Dreams in August: The ACO Dream Team Invitational, and The ACO Corny 40 Classic. The Corny 40 Classic will have the top 40 ranked cornhole players in the world.
Who Can Play:
- Friday and Saturday Qualifying Rounds: Anyone can enter
- Sunday ACO Dream Team Invitational: The top 24 teams from Friday & Saturday qualifiers, plus any of the top 40 ranked ACO players
Entry Fees:
- $125 per team to enter one (1) qualifying round
- $295 per team to enter all four (4) qualifying rounds (save $205)
- Free entry for any top 40 ACO player in the Sunday Invitational (but they need their own partner)
What’s Included:
- Entry into one or all four qualifying rounds (depending on what you paid for)

- 1st Place: $5,000
- 2nd Place: $2,400
- Top 4 Teams: $2,000 each

- Teams Ranked 17-32: $250 each
- Teams Ranked 33-48: $100 each
Format:
- Maximum 24 teams in Friday & Saturday qualifiers
- Single elimination, best 2 out of 3 games
- Guaranteed minimum 2 games
- Guaranteed minimum 8 games unless team qualifies early for final 64
- Top teams from each Friday/Saturday qualifier (minimum 6) get free entry into final 64 on Sunday
- Special cornhole bags filled with corn will be provided
- Final tournament format depends on total entries
ACO CORNY 40 CLASSIC
Who Can Play:
- Open only to the top 40 ranked ACO players from Season 18. The ACO will contact you with an invitation.
No Entry Fee
What’s Included:
- One free night’s hotel stay on Saturday, August 12, 2023 for each top 40 player
- An ACO Field of Dreams Corny 40 jersey to wear during the tournament

- Trophies and/or prizes for the top 4 players
Tournament Format:
- Single elimination, single game until the semi-finals
- Semi-finals and finals will be best 2 out of 3 games on the center court in The Barn event center

Where It’s Happening
The Field of Dreams movie site where the tournaments are held is located in the hilly countryside of Northeast Iowa. It’s about 25 miles west of the city of Dubuque, near where the states of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin meet along the Mississippi River.
