The three friends are part of a team called Jack and the Bean Bags. They play for the YMCA at Pabst Farms. Before playing, they chanted the Special Olympics motto together.

The motto says: “Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me try my best. Go cornhole!”

Then the cornhole competition began. The guys really enjoy playing cornhole. Donnie said his favorite part is scoring points. C.J. likes getting the bag into the hole.

Last year, their team came in second place. C.J. hopes they can win this year. He gave Donnie a tip during warm-ups, saying “Hey Donnie, throw harder.”

There are over 30 athletes from their YMCA competing at these summer games. Katie Becker is one of their coaches. She said it’s fun to have new athletes join and learn this game that anyone can play.
