Lakewood Ranch Residents Bond Over Cornhole

Lakewood Ranch Residents Bond Over Cornhole, Not everyone knows about this game. Joann Saladino, who used to live in New York, thought it was about cooking corn when she first came to play.

The game happens every Thursday morning at The Yard in Waterside Place. But it’s not really about playing cornhole. Kelly Harmon, who sets up the game, says it’s more about meeting new neighbors.

Most players are new to the area. Lisa and Todd Sears just had their one-year anniversary of moving from Illinois. They’re happy with their move.

The other players are also from different states like New York, New Hampshire, and Virginia. Some moved very recently.
