Cornhole Tournament Hosts Kearney | Fun Journey

Cornhole Tournament Hosts Kearney, On Saturday, Kearney hosted a big cornhole tournament at the American Legion. 39 teams from Nebraska and Kansas came to play the beanbag tossing game.

Players of all skill levels joined in. Riley Lavene, who plays with the Lone Tree Throwers, really likes how everyone comes together as one big group.

Josh Fousek, who helps run these tournaments, says anyone can play – from 7-year-old kids to people in their 70s. It feels like one big family.

Some people turn out to be naturals at the game. Randy Orvin from Central Nebraska Cornhole is one of them. He tried playing in a local tournament in 2017 and got second place on his first try. He enjoyed it so much that he kept playing.
