Tex-Mex Family Fiesta and Cornhole Tournament. On June 8th, there will be a big Tex-Mex family event in Midland, Texas. It has a cornhole tournament you can enter for $20. There will be music, food contests, a kids area, and vendors. It goes from noon to midnight at the Horseshoe Pavilion. Download the Scoreholio app and find “SOP – Mextex Switcholio” to sign up for the cornhole tournament. The event raises money for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
To sign up for the tournament, you need to download the Scoreholio app. In the app, find the event called “SOP – Mextex Switcholio” and register there. Along with the tournament, there will be live music performances by AJ Castillo, Ruben Ramos, the Art Tigerina Band and Grupo Pression.
There will also be a menudo and fajita cooking contest, a pageant for young Hispanic girls in the Permian Basin area, vendors selling things, and an area for kids. The fun event goes from noon until midnight.
