Roxbury Rotary Happy with Cornhole Game Results, The Roxbury Rotary Club raised almost $42,000 at their yearly cornhole game on October 6. Steve Alford from the club said this.
They wanted to raise $45,000, but they’re still happy with the result. They’re thankful to everyone who gave money and played. They made about $4,000 more than last year.
The game happened on a nice day at Horseshoe Lake. 150 people played in the game. Last year, they raised $38,000 and wanted to do better this year.
The club is very grateful for support from local businesses. They had 198 sponsors giving different amounts of money.
