Livingston Launches Inaugural Cornhole League

Livingston Launches Inaugural Cornhole League, Livingston, NJ — Starting September 9, Livingston and Roseland residents 18 and older can join a new cornhole league. The league will run for seven weeks.

Teams of 2-4 people can sign up. Games will be on Tuesday and Thursday nights. They’ll switch between Livingston Senior/Community Center and Roseland Recreation Department each week.

Ron Barbella, who runs the program, says they wanted to try something new. He thinks cornhole is great because people of all ages can play it. It’s popular at parties and can be played indoors or outdoors. Games are quick, usually less than an hour.

It costs $75 per player to join. Games will be at 6:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. They’ll play outside if the weather is good, or inside if it rains.

The full schedule will be made after all teams sign up.
