Cornhole Tournament Raises Funds for Cancer Patients

Cornhole Tournament Raises Funds for Cancer Patients, NY. On Saturday, people played cornhole to help others. A group called 13-Thirty Cancer Connect held its first Cornhole VS. Cancer game.

The event raised money for young people with cancer in Rochester. Sixteen teams played against each other at Rochester Beer Park.

13-Thirty Cancer Connect has been helping people aged 13 to 39 with cancer since 2001. They offer free programs and teach people about young adult cancer.

Claire Mckenna from the group said it’s important to support young cancer patients because they often don’t get enough help.

The group will have another event later this year called “Journeys: Annual Celebration of Living.” It will be on November 2 at Temple B’rith Kodesh at 6 p.m.
