Cornhole Bag Basics

Cornhole bags have two sides:

1. Turbo weave: Smooth side that slides well
2. Microsuede: Fuzzy side that sticks better

How to hold the bag flat:

• Put your thumb on top
• Other fingers go underneath

Types of Shots

1. Slide Shot
   • Use the smooth side
   • Aim for the lower part of the board
   • The bag should slide into the hole
2. Blocker
   • Use the fuzzy side
   • Throw high
   • Try to block your opponent’s path
3. Airmail
   • Throw the bag directly into the hole
   • Use a high throw
   • Hard to do, but worth a lot of points
4. Push Shot
   • Use the smooth side
   • Throw low and hard
   • Push your other bags into the hole
5. Bully Shot
   • Use the smooth side
   • Throw from the side
   • Push your opponent’s bag away
6. Rolling Shot
   • Hold the bag on its side
   • Make it flip over other bags
   • This is a tricky shot!
