Charity Cornhole Tournament Raises $10K for Addiction Relief. On Saturday morning, July 27, a bean bag tossing game contest was held in a parking lot. This was the second year for this event.

More than 45 teams played to win free Chick-fil-A food for a year. About 400 people came to watch or play. The event raised more than $10,000 to help people with drug or alcohol problems.

Bethel Colony of Mercy, a group that helps people with addiction, worked with Chick-fil-A to run the event. Many game boards were set up in the parking lot. Teams of two people played against each other until they lost twice. The winners were Chris Weiss and Bruce Weinbarger.”
